'Nick and his team did a fantastic job of transforming my scruffy garden into a beautiful space that everyone admires. He understood and realised my vague ideas, and was able to make some excellent suggestions. From clearing rubbish and digging a pond, to creating an imaginative planting scheme - often saving me money by preserving and making the most of existing features. Thank you!' - Julian

In this newly purchased home, a garden revamp was needed. Bamboo was extensively dug out and old decaying decking removed. A lawn and eucalyptus tree were also removed. A new patio was constructed using existing flagstones and some new matched cast concrete flags. Julian asked for a theme of the local cream stone colours, and he enjoyed the feel of a beach side gravel garden, which became flint gravel paths bounded in timber edging and softened by creeping thyme. Stones were used to raise a mound featuring an existing attractive cedar tree as a focal point.

A pond was excavated, extending under the extension. Breeze block walls painted and a decorative dry stone wall constructed behind. The statue of Venus was backed and framed by twin Junipus ‘Skyrocket’. Below are photos from before and during the construction phase of the project.
